This sustainable transport charity works on practical projects to encourage people to walk, cycle and use public transport in order to reduce motor traffic and its adverse effects. Their main project is the National Cycle Network which currently provides more than 10,000 miles of cycling and walking routes throughout the UK. Maps and free leaflets also available (see opposite).
