Uniformed youth organisation, that is not para-military nor pre-service. Offers training programme which involves teaching of seamanship and nautical skills and also offers recognised qualifications in subjects such as electrical and mechanical engineering, computers, communications and catering. Boys and girls aged 12 to 18 years are welcome in the cadet ranks and wear traditional Royal Navy uniforms.  Minimum Joining Ages: Junior Cadet - Ages 10 -12 Sea Cadet - Ages 12 - 18 Marine Cadet - Ages 13 - 18 All sections are open to boys and girls.   Parade Nights Junior Cadets - Mon - 7pm - 9pm Sea Cadets / Marine Cadets - Tues - 7pm - 9:30pm Sea Cadets / Marine Cadets - Fri - 7pm - 9:30pm
