Bristol Cathedral welcomes visitors young and old, and a look-in holds more for children than you might first expect. The awesome size of the building is impressive and the animals, stain glass windows and gruesome gargoyles provide plenty of entertainment. A children’s guide is available. The cathedral staff encourage kids to draw many of the features and also hold regular brass rubbing events and other workshops, including music, drama, environmental science and craft. There is a tour list to download online. Cathedral Eucharist every Sunday at 10am.
