Introduction to After School Care
Many of the entries in this chapter (outside this section) run holiday clubs and play schemes, indicated by the 'H' symbol. For working parents regular holiday clubs and after school care will need to be planned well in advance. Many school run their own out of school clubs, this may be something to check out before registering your child at a school. There are nurseries and child minder who will often take your child to and from school and provide care in the holidays. This may well be a continuation of care that you have had for your child prior to going to school. We hope that you will find something in this section to meet all your out of school needs.
