Brackenbury Ditches, Cotswolds.

A fairly level walk of 2-4 miles / 4-7 km through mixed woodland, some mature beech areas, plus some great views. Suitable for all-terrain buggies and children, but toddlers might struggle. Suitable for trainers as long as no rain recently. Mind you don't loose your bearings in the woods! Take the track going north west, or the footpath across the fields depending on where you parked. Take your pick of the tracks through the woods, but aim for the fort and Nibley Knoll in a north westerly direction for the better woodland and the views. Access: You'll need OS Map 162 Gloucester & Forest of Dean. Parking on roadside 1 mile north of Wotton-under Edge at 757943 or at 754941.
