Displays of American decorative art spanning 17th to 19th Century. Authentically furnished rooms showing the American way of life from colonial times to the eve of the Civil War. No prams or baby rucksacks in the house, but baby carriers can be borrowed. Beautiful terraced gardens, lovely for children to run around in but not very suitable for buggies. Drop-in activities for children during school holidays.
